At The Craft Bin, every item in our store is unique — most are handmade by local artisans, and many are one of a kind. We want you to love what you receive. If something isn’t right, here’s how we handle it.

Our Return Window

We accept returns on eligible items within [X] days of the delivery date. To be eligible, items must be:

  • Unused and in original condition
  • In original packaging where applicable
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (your order confirmation email)

How to Start a Return

Include your order number, the item(s) you’d like to return, and the reason. We’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions. Do not ship items back before receiving a return authorization — unauthorized returns cannot be processed.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you by email. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the credit.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

Because most of our items are one of a kind, direct exchanges may not be possible. If you’d like a different item, we recommend returning the original (if eligible) and placing a new order.

Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Custom and made-to-order items — items produced to your specifications are final sale once production has been approved and begun
  • Perishable goods — food items, candy, and specialty treats from The Sweet Shop
  • Digital products — downloadable patterns, files, or digital content
  • Items marked Final Sale at the time of purchase
  • Items that have been used, washed, worn, or altered

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the item and packaging. We’ll make it right at no cost to you — replacement, store credit, or full refund at your choice.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective item. We recommend using a trackable shipping method — we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items sent without tracking.
